Leipzig, 06.01.2021. True to the new slogan "Always an idea ahead" (in German "Immer eine Idee voraus"), ALVARA I Digital Solutions starts the new year with a strong concept. The three subsidiaries (ALVARA Cash Management Group AG, IT Kompetenz GmbH, Safelogy / MLSA) have been very successful with their previous software solutions and have established a very good position in the cash industry. These strengths are now united under the umbrella of the common brand ALVARA | Digital Solutions. The subsidiaries will continue to exist independently, but will now increasingly present their products and services under the brand.
"The companies in our group are coming even closer together from now on. We will bundle our resources not only in the area of software development but also our marketing measures," says ALVARA I Digital Solutions Managing Director Bernd Hohlfeld. "Our customers will benefit from the unified appearance on many levels."
The goals that the corporate group has set for itself with the establishment of the brand ALVARA | Digital Solutions for 2021 and beyond are ambitious and pioneering. For example, the product and service portfolio for all national and international clients is to be further expanded.
"We want to serve all parties involved in the cash cycle and logistics from a single source in the future," says Bernd Hohlfeld. "Customer needs are changing rapidly, as is the market situation. With combined strength and consolidated expertise, we can respond dynamically and purposefully."
The subsidiaries of the group and their respective solutions and competencies complement each other optimally. Overall, they have 30 years of experience and extensive expert knowledge concerning the cash cycle, cash management, and the needs of its stakeholders (retailers, financial institutions, and value-added service providers). The expertise is reflected in the modern and innovative IT solutions of the corporate group for cash processing, money ordering and collection, monitoring, and clearing. Cash handling and logistics processes can be digitized and optimized with their help, and cash management can be significantly simplified overall.
Even today, the existing software solutions of all three companies can be combined. "By harmonizing the products and expanding them with additional functions, we can offer our customers a complete solution from a single source," says Managing Director Thomas Vietze. The further development of the "CashPoint" solution shows that this calculation works. With over 2,500 licenses installed in more than 10 countries for various projects, the "CashPoint" application from ALVARA I Digital Solutions subsidiary Safelogy has proven itself in European retail. The group used this starting position and the combined industry know-how to develop a new, intuitive user interface for cash points, specifically designed for front-office recyclers at staff-attended and self-checkout registers.
