Leipzig, 02/02/2022. ALVARA | Digital Solutions continues to set the course for the "future". A part of the strategy of the leading European provider of software solutions for cash logistics and POS is to sustainably strengthen the companies in the group on their path to success. In this context, the decision was made to expand the management team of IT Kompetenz Gesellschaft für innovative Informationstechnologie mbH: Robert Wolf will be appointed as the second managing director from February 1, 2022. From now on, the two managing directors Matthias Schick and Robert Wolf will jointly lead IT Kompetenz.

The graduate economist (specializing in banking and finance) Robert Wolf brings ten years of industry experience through his multiple years of responsibility as head of the project management and service departments at ALVARA. Since 2020, the Leipzig native has also been Managing Officer at the current ALVARA Digital Solutions GmbH. As a member of the management team, he deepened his experience in the areas of employee management, strategy, sales, and business process development. He is accompanied by an excellent network in the entire cash industry.

As Managing Director of IT Kompetenz, Robert Wolf takes on responsibility for strategic topics, customer support, external representation, and the commercial area. As Technical Director, Matthias Schick continues to be responsible for products and the operational area of software development. Both dedicate themselves to business development and innovation management at the group level.
