ALVARA I Digital Solutions brings transparency to cash management with ICC

Leipzig, 17.02.2021. ALVARA | Digital Solutions offers "Interactive Cash Control" (ICC), an online platform that enables efficient management and tracking of the entire cash process. From deposit at any cash point to booking at the Bundesbank, the cash cycle between financial, retail, and cash service companies is transparently mapped. Cash operators thus solve numerous complex communication and monitoring tasks of cash logistics processes with a single platform.

Retail and financial institutions are already relying on the connection to ICC with more than 75,000 machines and branches - and thus benefit from numerous synergy effects. Additionally, the system processes 15 million safebags as well as 1.5 million change orders annually.

"With the digitalization of cash processes, retail and financial institutions significantly reduce entry errors, media disruptions, and multiple entries. The various modules of ALVARA ICC optimize cash and logistics processes. They can be flexibly and individually combined and are deployed as an ICC app and as a web-based platform solution. "For example, with the money order module, retail captures, processes, and manages orders for cash supply such as standing orders, optimized order suggestions, or automatic orders for Smart Recyclers," explains Thomas Vietze. The connected cash service providers (WDL) then process these - including CashEDI connection for Bundesbank orders. During cash delivery to the WDL, ALVARA ICC supports via Track & Trace and documents all liability transfers as well as the digital driver check.

"Employees of financial institutions can accept safebags at the counter and use ICC to generate customer receipts and process data further. Machine-supported counting then takes place in their own main cashier's office or in the WDL's cash center - including the automatic generation of the counting slip and transfer of encrypted customer data and specification values to the main cashier's office or cash center," adds ALVARA | Digital Solutions Managing Director Bernd Hohlfeld. Branch supply and disposal is also successful thanks to Track & Trace, secure, digital, and without media disruptions. A customizable reporting provides evaluations of all relevant data.

"In combination with other solutions from ALVARA | Digital Solutions, several synergy effects arise for retail and financial institutions," emphasizes Bernd Hohlfeld. Thus, when the solutions ICC and Universal Cloud interact, self-service devices like depositors, dispensers, or recyclers from various manufacturers are integrated and controlled. Orders for cash deliveries and disposals are therefore processed directly from the machines into the ICC platform. In addition, one-time codes for opening Smart Safes and collecting money are flexibly and demand-oriented provided on the WDL's logistics apps.
