ALVARA I Digital Solutions creates systematic management of cash and valuables handling with Pecunia.

Leipzig, 04/14/2021 ALVARA | Digital Solutions offers the opportunity to manage all areas of cash and value handling with the Cash Center Software Pecunia. Whether cash and valuables transport, cash processing, ATM services, material supplies, or direct cash supplies: Pecunia has proven to be a reliable tool that has grown with the increasing demands of the value logistics industry. For 25 years, renowned value service providers and banks have successfully relied on the solution. A significant advantage: The different modules and functions for systematic control of counting, vault flows, service orders, and transports, as well as billing, are tailored individually to the customer's processes. Combined with other ALVARA | Digital Solutions solutions, numerous synergy effects are created for value service providers and banks.

Pecunia offers extensive control and configuration options for maintaining customer data and basic data for cash processing, order entry, and logistics. With reporting and analysis functions, the progress of an order or the evaluation of certain workflows can be realized.

The effective recording and management of counting orders and inventories, as well as the generation of Federal Bank deposits, guarantee the functions for cash processing. "Pecunia enables simple, fast, and secure cash processing through the four-eyes principle, automated billing with the Federal Bank, and electronic transfers with same-day value date," explains ALVARA | Digital Solutions Managing Director Thomas Vietze.

All bookings of a value service provider can be generated and managed within the framework of main cash management in the booking system of a client or a bank (with the vault module). Depending on access to the bank's cash system, either a corresponding booking document can be generated for each process, or the required transfers and direct debits can be provided via file.

The order entry allows for quick and uncomplicated processing of all service tasks occurring in the value service sector − such as Federal Bank orders for supplying or emptying ATMs, branches, or cash registers, as well as maintenance work on ATMs, material deliveries, or intervention services. "Order entry is linked to route planning. Orders are not only automatically assigned to the routes. In conjunction with the MobiTour scanner app, order-based work is also possible. The app can synchronize with Pecunia to assign the appropriate orders to the individual stops, so drivers on site know exactly what to do. The billing of individual services can also be specifically controlled through it," explains Thomas Vietze.

All necessary functions for executing orders after cash processing, such as route planning, acceptance and delivery of containers (including container control) at the customer or Federal Bank, are combined in route planning. Mobile applications for scanners ensure communication between the Cash Center and drivers and provide more transparency within external container tracking.

Extensive reporting and analysis functions in Pecunia also enable data evaluation of one's own processes: These include certain workflows, revenues, counting processes, and container flows.

"Combined with other ALVARA | Digital Solutions solutions, Pecunia creates even greater added value for our customers," adds ALVARA | Digital Solutions Managing Director Steven Schwarznau. "With the already existing connection to ICC – also via logistics app – live tracking and digital driver authentication can be implemented. In the near future, digital receipts and one-time code generation will also be added."

In the future, the provider of Track & Trace software solutions also plans to develop counting machine interfaces on a unified IoT platform for Plug and Play. Connecting counting machines can then occur without prior installation.

Furthermore, ALVARA | Digital Solutions is already planning further development steps: "Currently, Pecunia is linked to the online platform webAmis, which the customers of the value service providers use to submit orders. We plan to migrate to ICC as a cloud-based solution, as well as a CashEDI interface via the ICC platform and the integration of the universal ATM monitoring software," explains Thomas Vietze.
