Cash Logistics to be Made Future-Proof
(Düsseldorf/Leipzig, 06.08.2018) It is said that the importance of cash is continually decreasing and cash transports are a thing of the past.
The increase in electronic transactions is also statistically proven. However, the amount of circulating cash is increasing at the same rate.
The extent of this increase is confirmed by these figures: In Germany alone, 25 million cash transport trips are counted per year. Three billion euros are on the roads across the Federal Republic every day. The money printing company Giesecke & Devrient in Leipzig prints five billion banknotes every year, resulting in the worldwide number of banknotes increasing by three to five percent annually.*
Companies are now challenged to make cash logistics and their processes more efficient and future-proof for the coming years. With this goal, ALVARA Cash Management Group AG and Prosegur Cash Services Germany GmbH have formed a strategic partnership.
