ALVARA INNOVATION DAYS in Leipzig on September 18 and 19, 2017, provide answers to questions about Cash Process 2.0
Value service providers and external service providers face the challenge of ensuring the safety of employees and the valuable items being transported. This must be realized quickly, punctually, and without delays, efficiently and transparently on a daily basis.
Through the ALVARA Interactive Cash Control platform for cash management, orders for cash supply are recorded, processed, and managed transparently. The collection, processing, exchange, evaluation, and forwarding of information and data in the cash process is web-based. The cash cycle is efficiently controlled and documented seamlessly. With INSYS locks from INSYS MICROELECTRONICS GmbH, by eliminating physical keys and opening locks using one-time codes, keys can no longer be lost, reducing risks and costs. Additionally, external service providers can also be quickly involved in the process. The WTU driver receives the unlocking code on their smartphone only when they are in front of the safe and authorized. Similarly, a technician can gain access via a one-time code to fix a malfunction. The generation of a unique unlocking code by the owner of the money is also possible in the event of WTU failure, e.g., during strikes. The immediate generation of a one-time code for technician assignments during malfunctions and failures also conserves resources and increases the availability of machines and devices, as a WTU driver is no longer needed on-site to open the safe for troubleshooting.
Currently, a solution comprising modules from both companies is being piloted at dm-drogerie markt GmbH + Co. KG in Karlsruhe. Michael Geißler, responsible for cash management at dm, states: "We are very satisfied with the implementation so far. We can centrally manage cash, employees, locks, and codes. Collaboration with external service providers is organized securely and clearly. Adding further users is also simple, allowing the system to be quickly and easily adapted to new requirements."
Alongside a presentation from INSYS GmbH, answers to further questions regarding cash will be provided at the 7th ALVARA INNOVATION DAYS on September 18 and 19, 2017, in Leipzig. For the seventh time, ALVARA Cash Management Group AG is organizing this event for cash players from financial institutions, the retail sector, and value service providers from all over Europe. The two-day conference in Leipzig will focus, in addition to expert speakers, on open discussion rounds and a high-tech accompanying exhibition.
