Cash control with system – Organize daily processes in cash management efficiently, transparently, and securely.

ALVARA INNOVATION DAYS in Leipzig on September 18 and 19, 2017 provide answers to questions about Cash Process 2.0

Security service providers and external service providers face the challenge of ensuring the safety of employees and the valuables being transported. This must be realized efficiently and transparently every day, quickly, and on time without delays.

Through the ALVARA Interactive Cash Control platform for cash management, orders for cash supply are recorded, processed, and managed transparently. The collection, processing, exchange, evaluation, and dissemination of information and data in the cash process are conducted web-based. The cash cycle is managed efficiently and documented seamlessly. With INSYS locks from INSYS MICROELECTRONICS GmbH, by forgoing physical keys and using one-time codes to open the locks, keys can no longer be lost, thus reducing risks and costs. In addition, external service providers can be quickly involved in the process. The CIT driver receives the unlock code on his smartphone only when he is in front of the safe and authorized. Similarly, a technician can gain access with a one-time code to address a disruption. Generating an own unlock code by the owner of the cash is also possible in the event of CIT failure, for example during strikes. The immediate generation of one-time codes for technician deployments during disruptions and outages also conserves resources and increases the availability of machines and devices since a CIT driver is no longer necessary on-site to open the safe for troubleshooting.

Currently, a solution consisting of modules from both companies is being piloted at dm-drogerie markt GmbH + Co. KG in Karlsruhe. Michael Geißler, responsible for cash management at dm: “We are very satisfied with the current deployment. We can centrally manage cash, employees, locks, and codes. Collaboration with external service providers is organized securely and clearly. Training additional users is also simple, allowing the system to be quickly and easily adapted to new requirements.”

Besides a presentation by INSYS GmbH, the 7th ALVARA INNOVATION DAYS on September 18 and 19, 2017 in Leipzig will provide answers to further questions on the topic of cash. For the seventh time, ALVARA Cash Management Group AG is hosting the event for cash players from financial institutions, retail, and security service providers across Europe. The two-day symposium in Leipzig will focus on competent speakers, open discussions, and a high-tech accompanying exhibition.
