Trade is driving digitalization forward. In the back office, mobile devices are increasingly replacing stationary computers. ALVARA is responding to this development with mobile solutions for cash management.
(Leipzig, XX.07.2018) The ALVARA Cash Management Group AG is responding to the changing conditions in the back office of trading companies with new solution concepts for cash management. The company is therefore expanding its proven solutions, such as ALVARA ICC, to include mobile applications.
"It has long been observed that the equipment of employees in trading companies is evolving towards mobile devices," says Bernd Hohlfeld, CEO of ALVARA. "Our customers want to enhance their service and strengthen the competencies of their employees."
For example, smartphones additionally contain an inventory management system for retrieving product information and stock levels. They are also intended to serve mobile data capture, such as ordering products, checking the expiration date, and printing labels. This trend naturally affects the infrastructure of trading companies, so there is the potential in the future to work with a PC-free back office. This development is also foreseeable in cash management.
"We support this trend and are gradually converting the software modules of ALVARA solutions to mobile devices," explains Hohlfeld. "Our customers can always rely on us being well-prepared for the future."
In the first step, ALVARA is providing the digital driver authorization as an app. In the future, additional functions of the ALVARA ICC platform, such as ordering and picking up cash, will be prepared for mobile devices.
