Just over two years ago, Götz Geld- und Wertedienste took the next step towards future-oriented cash logistics processes - with the introduction of ALVARA | Digital Solutions. "In mid-2021, the mobile application went into regular operation. Since then, our processes have significantly streamlined, and our colleagues have been relieved," said Daniel Reichelt, Operations and Branch Manager, Götz Geld- und Wertedienste GmbH. If a driver needs to pick up a safebag at retail companies, he scans it. More efficiency is brought into the process through the digital receipts of the cash handover, which can be displayed and signed directly on the device with the new scanning technology. "Printouts become unnecessary. In addition, their digital successors save time, archiving efforts, and help protect the environment," notes Daniel Reichelt.

Driver authentication can also be digitally depicted in a more efficient and GDPR-compliant manner. The Götz driver's scanner generates a QR code for each authentication process. When a store employee reads this with a smartphone, he is immediately informed whether the driver is actually authorized for the cash pickup. This accelerates the process and is equally advantageous for data protection reasons. Security is emphasized here in contrast to the previous paper lists.
