Numerous processes around cash handling – from cash supply and disposal to change order and cash reconciliation – can run significantly more efficiently in retail. Intelligently designed back-office solutions help by digitizing and automating analog process steps.
With the ARCA back-office recycler – consisting of the CM18b note module and CC3R coin module, ALVARA connected another machine to ALVARA Interactive Cash Control (ICC) in January 2019. Thanks to the new interface, users of the ARCA back-office system can now perform monitoring via ICC. They are always informed about what was deposited or withdrawn, when, and by whom. They can also view the cassette fill levels if needed. Additionally, ICC is capable of automatically triggering change orders and disposal requests.
"By creating the new interface, ALVARA once again underscores its manufacturer neutrality and independence," says ALVARA board member Bernd Hohlfeld. "Retail companies now have an even greater selection of suitable back-office machines that allow monitoring via ICC."
If ARCA machines are equipped with an Insys one-time code lock, the code generation can be made even more secure and efficient via the one-time code generator of the ALVARA Logistic App. "The process of supplying and disposing of the market is also supported by the ALVARA App from collection in the market to arrival at the cash center, and all liability transfers are digitally documented," adds Hohlfeld.
The overall solution will be presented from February 19 to 21, 2019 at EuroCIS in Düsseldorf (Hall 10 / Stand D58).
