Leipzig, 17.09.2020 – ALVARA | Digital Solutions, the corporate group specializing in Track & Trace software solutions for the cash cycle and logistics, leverages synergies from its holding and expands its product portfolio. The group is responding to the increasing digitalization in the financial industry and retail sector, which makes the need for secure and cost-efficient software solutions for cash processes even more apparent.
"Our starting position to respond to the changes in the market is optimal thanks to the acquisitions of IT Kompetenz Gesellschaft für innovative Informationstechnologie mbH and Safelogy SAS," says Bernd Hohlfeld, Managing Director at ALVARA | Digital Solutions. "Since all companies in our holding work with cash-in-transit companies, retailers, and financial institutions, they can draw on many years of experience in cash management and handling. The resulting synergies are a valuable component of our strategy to expand European market leadership."
Positive scale effects are visible in areas such as software development for Cash Centers (for cash-in-transit companies), for the main cash desk (for financial institutions), or for the online platform (for all cash players) ALVARA ICC. The consolidation of competencies within the group ensures the harmonization and optimal advancement of solutions and complements the portfolio of ALVARA | Digital Solutions with new services, such as proactive monitoring of smart safes via Safelogy's Universal Cloud. In the future, for instance – in line with the IoT (Internet of Things) – they can self-commission maintenance, order money, or request a cash-in-transit service. Digital driver authorization including a digital receipt and one-time code generation, aimed at the digitalization of physical keys, is now also possible. The synergies also impact basic functionalities, such as ticketing, the centralization of master data, or a central invoicing (automatic billing).
"Our existing and future customers will benefit from our pooled and steadily growing process and industry know-how," says Thomas Vietze, second Managing Director at ALVARA | Digital Solutions. "With the help of our solutions, they can advance the digitalization and automation of their processes – and even without any media breaks, as all solutions are seamlessly networked across all cash players."
The field-proven and widely used platform ALVARA ICC takes on the role of the central data broker. All technically relevant data converges here and is redistributed to the networked systems (e.g., from IT Kompetenz and Safelogy). In this way, the IT solutions in the various areas can communicate seamlessly and create measurable added value for customers.
