Digital processes have become indispensable in cash and valuables handling. They help, among other things, to meet customer demands and compete against the competition. The Cash Center Software Pecunia, as a digital tool, brings these and further improvements for valuables service providers and banks. ALVARA | Digital Solutions continuously expands the various additional functions. Automated bookings, audit-supporting inventory management, and simplified communication are part of the "Safe Mirror" feature.
Pecunia: Software for the Modern Cash Center
Whether cash and valuables transport companies or financial institutions, they all face a variety of challenges. Increasing regulatory requirements, secure cash transactions, efficient processes, and complete transparency for all involved are just a few. Digitalization has proven to be a valuable hurdle breaker, promising more efficiency, security, and transparency.
The Cash Center Software from ALVARA | Digital Solutions has been convincing numerous financial institutions and valuables service providers for over 25 years of the advantages of digital and thus optimized processes in cash and valuables handling. With the modular structure, various customer needs can be implemented and task areas optimally mapped and controlled. Features such as the management of counts, Bundesbank deposits and supply orders, route planning and container logistics, or mobile ticketing add extra value to the solution. An additional feature that represents a real gain is the Safe Mirror.
A Look into the Safe Mirror
Pool management has long been a proven component of Pecunia. This allows all cash inflows and outflows to be monitored. The Safe Mirror complements the overall solution, automating bookings and facilitating communication between banks and valuables service providers in this context. On the one hand, the feature supports valuables service providers managing a balance pool for a bank. On the other hand, banks running their own cash center and managing their inventories rely on the Safe Mirror.
The benefit is revealed in the process: In provisioning from a balance pool, demands arise against the bank's customer in the form of direct debits. For deposits, the bank must credit its customer with the amount. These bookings are processed through the bank's main cash account in OSPlus – previously manually. Here, the Safe Mirror comes into play and transforms manual bookings into automated ones. With it, SEPA files can be generated in Pecunia, which the software then transmits to OSPlus via data transfer.
The name Safe Mirror owes to one of its strengths. At the end of the day, valuables service companies or banks can perform a cash recording to verify whether the physical inventories displayed in the Pecunia Safe overview match those on the main cash account. Thus, the inventories in Pecunia reflect those on the main cash account.
Automation Brings Efficiency and Security!
This process offers different advantages to cash players:
- Inventories can be managed transparently and traceably.
- Manual bookings are no longer required.
- This results in significant time savings.
- The error source "typo" can be eliminated.
- The automation in sending the SEPA file brings more efficiency.
- Transfer jobs can still be executed manually – if desired.
The Safe Mirror thus plays an important role in meeting the current challenges of valuables service companies and banks. However, through its integration as a function in Pecunia, the stated benefits are just the beginning. The proven Cash Center Software ensures efficiency, security, and transparency on many other levels. Curious?
